Creamy marzipan center smothered in our silky-smooth melted chocolate. You may order our marzipan smothered in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or a combination of both chocolates. You may purchase full boxes of our chocolate-covered marzipan on this page - if you want to include it as part of a mixed box, please visit our "create a box" section.

Our chocolates are sold by weight (not by volume). Each box contains the following approximate chocolate quantities: 4 oz contains 3-7 pieces, 9 oz contains 6-15 pieces and 1 lb contains 16-28 pieces

Marzipan is a popular confection throughout the world. One of the main ingredients in Marzipan is almond paste. Many international traditions for marzipan are to shape it into the form of vegetables, animals, and other objects as a specialty treat. Instead of different shapes, we prefer to add our delicious chocolate - everything tastes better with chocolate! 

Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate or Both

For a less sweet but rich Marzipan try our dark chocolate Marzipan, but if you like it on the sweet side, we recommend trying our milk chocolate variety. Or, for those who like both rich and sweet, we offer Marzipan with a mixture of dark and milk chocolate for the best of both worlds.

MARZIPAN INGREDIENTS:

SUGAR, CHOCOLATE**, CORN SYRUP,  HEAVY CREAM, SALT, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORING.  

Milk Chocolate: 

sugar, milk, cocoa butter, chocolate, soy lecithin and vanilla.

Dark Chocolate:

 sugar, chocolate liquor, chocolate liquor processed with alkali, cocoa butter, butterfat [milk], soy lecithin, and vanilla.

CONTAINS: Milk, Soybeans.

May Contain: Wheat, Eggs, tree nuts, and Peanuts.

    This is my mother’s favorite candy so naturally I wanted to send it to her for Mother’s Day. We usually order See’s but they were no longer accepting Mother’s Day orders. I googled the product and Mrs. Cavanaughs came up and was well reviewed so I gave it a try. It arrived right on time, was beautifully wrapped, included the exact sentiment I wrote on the card, and the candy was beyond delicious! Needless to say, we will be ordering from Mrs. Cavanaugh’s from now on!!!

    I got them for my friends birthday. They arrived on Monday May 4th. I just seen her awhile ago and have them to her. She loved them. I am sure we will order them again.

    They were a gift for my grandmother. They are her favorite candy from See’s. See’s is closed right now so I was searching the internet to find an alternative. I found you. Needless to say she likes yours better. Thank you for making my 96 year old grandmothers Easter.

    My "go to" special occasion treat for our granddaughter is her favorite candy, dark chocolate covered marzipan, and Mrs. Cavanaugh's was a hit both times we have surprised her with a box. She claims yours is the best! Your shipping is great and timely as well, I can always count of Mrs. Cavanaugh's.

    THIS is IT! for years I have hoped to find a FANTASTIC marzipan covered in first-rate milk chocolate....something besides the packaged stuff Aldi carries around the holidays. Not an easy feat! Everyone wants DARK on marzipan! YUCK! Not this kid, and not my sister, Renae Harris! ;) The only other chocolatier I know tendering a hand-dipped, milk chocolate option is in a tiny shop out in CA on the Mendocino Coast - but, alas, they have NEVER offered mail order! After nearly twenty years of longing to locate a source for deliciously fresh milk chocolate marzipan , here it is! Hands down, the best you can buy. Be sure to include some in your custom boxes, folks! You won't be sorry. Heck, order a whole box! They're addictive!
