We buy pitted maraschino cherries from our vendors and inspect each cherry for missed pits before coating it with chocolate. Please be careful when biting down, just in case any cherry pits are missed.
We use only premium Grade A maraschino cherries in our chocolate-covered Cherry Cordials. Each cordial cherry is inspected to meet our high standards. These are the best chocolate-covered cherries and the best cherry cordials you will ever taste.
Our delicious undipped maraschino cherry cordials contain the following ingredients: Maraschino Cherries, Water, Corn Syrup, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Malic Acid, Citric Acid, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Potassium Sorbate, and Sodium Benzoate as preservatives, FD&C Red #40, and Sulfur Dioxide.

Every chocolate-covered cherry is coated with our secret liquid recipe and then smothered in a rich coat of premium milk or dark chocolate. There are approximately 20–22 delicious cordials per pound (the product is sold by weight).
Our cordial cherry candies are the perfect gift! We sign each one with love—each one is hand-marked with a “C” on top.
Mrs. Cavanaugh's Cherry Cordial assorted box is available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or a mix of the two. During warmer months, we include a cold pack to preserve freshness and inhibit melting during shipping.

The cherry cordials are delicious., and some of the best I've had. They arrived by USPS and were in perfect condition. I gave a four star rating only because my box was actually short one cordial. Response: Debbie, we are thrilled that you enjoyed out cordials as much as we do! We pack our chocolates by weight, not volume. ten cherries on the top row had leaked the liquid from the inside and it had ran down over the rest of the box. It was a sticky mess.. Mrs. Cavanaugh's response: We are sorry that your chocolates did not arrive in satisfactory condition. We do our best to pack our chocolates so they will arrive in great condition; however, we unfortunately don't have control over how a third party handles the package. Loved that the cherries are not too sweet and the liquid filling is clear and not that super sweet gooey filling. The chocolate, though, is not outstanding.

Just loved these! They are delicious . . . the cherries are nice and plump and the liquid filling is yummy! I think the dark chocolate is a bit better than the milk chocolate, but still . . . scrumptious!!

Cherry Cordials
I always choose dark chocolate for my cherry cordials, and until now have only been happy with Godiva. So, I initially ordered them in dark chocolate. They were far less sweet than I have previously encountered, but after adjusting to that I liked them very much. Milk chocolate is my preference overall, but too sweet in a cherry cordial. However, due to the fact that these are not very sweet (in a good way), the milk chocolate works perfectly and this combination is my favorite. I am now ruined - I must have these delicious, fresh, large, handmade cordials with their wonderfully thick walls of creamy chocolate. If you appreciate quality candy, you will enjoy these. They were also very well packaged and shipped right away, and there are specials and sales periodically. It is a pleasure, especially in this day and age, to for once get what you pay for!

Dark Chocolate Cherry Cordials
Absolutely the best Cherry Cordials I have ever had. The dark chocolate is professionaly tempered and provides that expected snap and velvet texture you want in chocolate. The exceptional draw to these cordials is that they are truly a liquid center. The plump and moist cherry is not overly sweet with a refreshing slight tartness -simply AMAZING! I have tried multiple cherry cordials from Sanders and Godiva, and in my opinion, Mrs. Cavanaugh's Cherry Cordials are hands down the best confectionary delights available!
