We buy pitted maraschino cherries from our vendors and inspect each cherry for missed pits before coating it with chocolate. Please be careful when biting down, just in case any cherry pits are missed.
We use only premium Grade A maraschino cherries in our chocolate-covered Cherry Cordials. Each cordial cherry is inspected to meet our high standards. These are the best chocolate-covered cherries and the best cherry cordials you will ever taste.
Our delicious undipped maraschino cherry cordials contain the following ingredients: Maraschino Cherries, Water, Corn Syrup, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Malic Acid, Citric Acid, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Potassium Sorbate, and Sodium Benzoate as preservatives, FD&C Red #40, and Sulfur Dioxide.

Every chocolate-covered cherry is coated with our secret liquid recipe and then smothered in a rich coat of premium milk or dark chocolate. There are approximately 20–22 delicious cordials per pound (the product is sold by weight).

the good stuff
The only reason I choose 4 stars instead of 5, is that I'd only use 5 for something so good I've never yet tasted it. On the other hand these mixed chocolate cherries are certainly the best real-world cherries I've tasted since childhood. Almost all chocolate cherries these days are cloaked in liqueur form -- and for me alcohol completely ruins the complementary cherry and chocolate flavors. By contrast, these cordial cherries are made the way God intended, and both the milk and dark varieties keep the two flavors distinct and yet ready to blend perfectly into a convincing whole as they dissolve on the palate. They also have a very attractive, slight, sharp cherry tang to set off against the dominant sweetness. I bet you'll have trouble finding better ones anywhere today.

Used to buy these from a small family-run candy shop in NH. We have not found a shop near us in FL, so bought these online a couple of years ago. They are, by far, the best we ever had.

Ever since Van Dynes Chocolate went out of business, there hasn't been a cherry cordial made thats worth a darn. Until I found Mrs. Cavanaugh's. Cherry cordials are my mothers special favorite, and she was so happy to get these. The cherry is huge, and the sweet liquid inside is just the way a cherry cordial should be. No one comes close to making these the right way. Just love them!! The chocolate is perfect too.

Nice chocolate
We liked the cherry cordials but they were a little on the tart side with little cream inside. The Dark and light chocolate is very good but also is a thick covering producing a hard bite. Our request to wrap each one in foil was done and much appreciated.

Cherry Cordials
The cherry cordials were very enjoyable, good quality and care in delivery. Although I ordered half milk and half dark and received all milk instead, I still was pleased with my order. I called the company regarding this and they wanted to send me a 1 lb. box of dark which I declined.
