I assume the product was perfect as usual
However, i was told that the Christmas message card was missing from one ( or maybe more) of the packages i had delivered by mail.

2 pound Famous Traditional Assortment
I tried Mrs. Cavanaugh's cherry cordials and found them rather sour, but I decided to take a chance on this assortment, and I was richly rewarded. There is a wonderful variety of great candies here. When I saw the "naked" caramel in the box, I thought that was a little below Mrs. Cavanaugh's standards, but one bite told me that the company knows what it is doing. They just want the customer to experience their homestyle caramel without any "interference" from their delicious chocolate. And speaking of the chocolate, it is rich and flavorful, but subtle enough to allow the flavors of the fillings to shine. The lemon creme is my favorite, because it tastes like my homemade lemon curd. It has a much brighter flavor than other brands. I was looking forward to the rough rum, and was really happy when I found it. I'm usually not a fan of a maple-nut creme, but this one was so tasty that it changed my mind. I highly recommend this assortment. Get at least two pounds, because one pound will disappear quickly.

The Best!
In the past 30 years I haven't found a better brand of assorted chocolates! These are delicious. My favorites are the cremes because they melt in your mouth. I buy the milk chocolates for myself and the mixed milk/dark assortment for gifts when I don't know which they prefer. Warning -- you will become hooked on these chocolates!
