This premium selection features a delightful variety of handcrafted treats, including creamy caramels, nutty clusters, decadent truffles, and silky-smooth creams, all available in both milk and dark chocolate. Perfect for chocolate lovers, this assortment is ideal for gifting or indulging yourself in the finest chocolates.
This popular assortment of silky-smooth chocolates is where it started and includes a nice variety of creams, cavaliers (cavalier), nut clusters, toffees, caramels, and truffles that will please every chocolate lover. This assortment includes approximately 20-24 delicious chocolates per pound (our chocolates are sold by weight, not by volume).
The specific chocolates included in our Famous Traditional Assortment are the following:
Gregory (caramel and almonds), Toffee, Chocolate Dipped Caramel, Peanut Cluster, Rough Rum (rum creme covered in milk chocolate and roasted almonds), Chocolate Creme, White Trinidad (caramel and cashews covered in white chocolate), Cavalier (caramel and pecans), Almond Cluster, Haystack (toasted coconut blended with chocolate), Raspberry Creme, French Mint Creme, Stand-up Caramel, Brady (caramel and macaroon coconut), Mindy Mint Truffle, Maple Nut Creme, Marie (caramel and pecans covered in chocolate), Cherry Cordial, Orange Crème, Cherry Almond Crème, Lemon Crème, Apricot Crème (we may make substitutes on a rare occasion).
Mrs. Cavanaugh's Traditional chocolate assorted box is available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or a mix of the two chocolates and is available in a variety of sizes.

Mixed milk chocolate
The best chocolates. They are not overly sweet like a lot of chocolates, just enough. The "cavalier" type candles are excellent and the creams are the best, especially the orange cream. I'm thankful that they don't use preservatives. The caramels are so fresh and delicious. I DO wish that an ingredient list could be found somewhere. I have relatives with celiac. It would be nice to know which chocolates may have malt or wheat in them.

I gave this to my mom on Mother’s Day. I’ve given her many boxed chocolates over the years, but she claims that no others could compare to your traditional assortment. She’s 94, so she has a lot to compare them with.
