Ordered a Famous Traditional Assortment as a Christmas gift for some friends to whom I had gifted another well-known candy maker's assortment in the past. Because I hadn't had any Mrs. Cavanaugh's candy since moving away from Utah (about 20 years ago), and knew that I didn't like all the varieties in an assortment, I ordered a box compiled of selections that I was pretty sure I'd like for myself. As expected, I liked most (but not all) of the varieties in my box and found it to be as good as I remembered. Excellent quality, but different from the other manufacturer's product with respect to individual candy offerings. I hold both manufacturer's offerings in high regard and won't wait another 20 years before purchasing another box of Mrs. Cavanaugh's candy.
